Duthie Park was donated to Aberdeen by Elizabeth Duthie way back in 1880, and opened its doors to the general public three years later. Its eye-catching bandstand, ponds, statues and fountains make it instantly-recognisable.
Visitors can take in the David Welch Winter Gardens – one of the largest indoor gardens in Europe. It is home to a number of exotic plants, such as Britain’s largest collection of cacti . . . and the world’s only talking cactus!
