William Wallace Statue

Opposite His Majesty's Theatre, Rosemount Viaduct, Aberdeen, AB25 1JY

William Wallace, a Scottish knight who became a leader during the Wars of Scottish Independence, beat an English army at the Battle of Stirling Bridge in 1297. His statue now sits opposite His Majesty’s Theatre in Aberdeen.

His namesake, William Grant Stevenson, designed the bronze landmark, having trained at the Royal Scottish Academy.
