Archivists’ Garden

H M Register House, 2 Princes St, Edinburgh EH1 3YY

Designed and created by David Mitchell, curator of the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh, Archivists’ Garden boasts 57 different types of plant, all of which are connected to Scotland.

This botanical haven occupies the open courtyard space between the New Register House and the General Register House. It is a lovely combination of being close to Princes Street, yet nice and quiet for a bit of escapism.
