Fun for all ages, the zoo is a brief bus journey away from the centre of Edinburgh and hosts more than 1,000 animals, including the only giant pandas to reside in the UK. With a beautiful backdrop of park settings, look out for the chimpanzees and flamingos, to name but two!

Talks by expert keepers are delivered every day, and when lunchtime arrives be sure to check out the penguin parade, when the likes of the Rockhopper and King colonies leave their enclosure and have an explore.
