Eyre Pl, Edinburgh EH3 5EN

This peaceful, leafy park in Edinburgh New Town, near Canonmills, can be accessed off Eyre Place. Popular with local dog walkers, it is adjacent to Scotland Yard Park, which has climbing frames and swings for the children.

The Rodney Street tunnel, a former railway tunnel, officially re-opened in July 2009, extending the off-road pedestrian-cycleway network into the park.
