Liverpool Empire Theatre is the largest two-tier theatre in the UK. This major touring entertainment venue offers the best in West End musicals, opera, ballet, plays, children's productions, concerts and comedy.

In 1957 local pop group The Quarrymen – who would morph into the world’s biggest band, The Beatles – appeared at the theatre. They played three more times, making their final bow in 1965.
